When a prestigious law firm approached our studio for new headshots, their goal was clear: they wanted professional portraits that reflected confidence, approachability, and credibility. Their previous images felt outdated and overly formal, creating a disconnect with their modern brand identity. The challenge was to craft a new visual tone that would align with the firm’s refreshed branding and communicate trust to their clients.

We began by conducting a consultation to understand their brand values and tone. The firm emphasized professionalism and warmth—qualities that needed to come through visually. We designed a simple, neutral studio setup using soft gray backgrounds and controlled lighting to create depth and dimension without distractions. The lighting was positioned to highlight facial features while keeping shadows subtle and natural.

During the session, we focused on bringing out genuine expressions. By engaging in conversation and offering light direction, we helped each team member relax and project their authentic selves. This approach resulted in portraits that looked approachable yet authoritative—a balance that matched the firm’s ethos perfectly.

Post-production involved careful retouching to maintain a natural finish. Skin tones were evened out, stray hairs removed, and backgrounds cleaned, all while preserving the natural textures of the subjects’ faces. We avoided over-editing to ensure authenticity.

Once delivered, the new portraits were integrated into the firm’s website and marketing materials. The cohesive look immediately elevated their online presence, creating a consistent, trustworthy image across digital platforms.
